I have one national hive and have just built a flat pack hive, just put my first swarm in the new hive. I would like to join the group for guidance, information and to help others.

Hi James, brilliant we’d love you to join. To do so simply print a copy of the membership form from the website and send to Fred. Alternatively contact Yvonne, our secretary, her contact details are on the committee page.
Any other questions, then ask away!

I have recently completed a 6 week beginner course at Stamford college – I now have a hive ready set up in my garden. It haven’t yet got any bees yet, so wondered how I could get some? Also I would like to become a member , do I just complete a form on line & return ?
    Kind regards

Hi Graham and sorry for the delay, yes, just complete the form and return. Fred, the Treasurer, should have details of the bees available, so give him a call.

Hi All and thank you for the recent talk at Peterborough Allotments Consortium.
I’m very interested in setting up a Hive or two on my allotment in Fletton and hope to be purchasing these in about 5 weeks time.
Naturally I will be registering with the association and was wondering if anyone would be interested in tying up with me to walk the plot to ensure that the site I have in mind to place the hives is appropriate and advise on when to stock it etc.
Looking forward to hearing back from you,
    Amy Price

Hi Amy and sorry for the delay – who did the talk recently? Either we can link you up with them or I’m sure there is another member who would be able to. When were you thinking?
